Peggy Brady, has served as the Executive
Director for the Council on Culture & Arts (COCA), the local arts agency
for Tallahassee and Leon County, for the past fourteen
years. She
is the recipient of the Trumpet Award for service
to the arts in the Capital City and the Ralph Cook
Award presented by Tallahassee Little Theatre for
commitment to the arts in Tallahassee. Prior to her tenure with COCA, she
was the Executive Director for the Center for the Arts School of Theatre
(C.A.S.T.), for students from Kindergarten through college. A playwright
and director, Ms. Brady has had twelve of her full-length
musical plays produced around the country, and
is a guest director for local, regional and college theatres.
She is also the producer, director, and co-writer
of The Laughing Stock:
Florida's Musically Twisted Political Cabaret, a professional, commercial
touring theatre company based in Tallahassee.
