JAKE ARMSTRONG (Matt) is happy to be returning to the Tallahassee Little Theatre stage in another wonderful production. This summer Jake played Henrik in Theatre ala Carte’s Production of A Little Night Music, and you may remember Jake from last summer’s production of The Scarlet Pimpernel in which he played the title character. Jake is a junior in the FSU College of Music, pursuing a degree in Vocal Performance. He was honored to take second place in his division last year at the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) conference at FSU. Jake, a veteran of numerous theatrical productions at Chiles High School, Young Actors Theatre and Leon High School, performed on National Public Radio's From the Top in Ruby Diamond Auditorium. He thanks his family for their love and unending support. Jake would also like to thank his fellow cast and crew with whom he is honored to share the stage.

PATRICK CAMPBELL (Bellomy) has worked onstage and behind the scenes with a number of theater groups in the North Florida/South Georgia area. He most recently appeared on stage as Agis in TALC's production of Triumph of Love. Other favorite performances include Sweeney Todd, Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?, Much Ado About Nothing, The Secret Garden, HMS Pinafore, The Pirates of Penzance, Follies, Into the Woods, Zombie Prom, and Sunday in the Park with George. He also has directing, lighting design, and music composition credits to his name. By day, Patrick is a software developer at PATLive.

ZACH CRAMER (Sound Design) has been designing sound for over 15 years. He has designed sound for such shows as The Who's Tommy, Peter Pan, Jekyll & Hyde, Ragtime, Seussical, The Full Monty, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Secret Garden and most recently, A Little Night Music.  Other shows include a musical review titled Broadway Memories, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change and FSU's USO Tribute Show with Bay-Shore Productions and the Florida State University Center Club. 

JUNE DOLLAR (Music Director/Accompanist) is very grateful for the cast, band, and crew of The Fantasticks and for this very creatively satisfying experience. June was most recently seen on stage as Mrs. Segstrom in Theatre a la Carte’s production of A Little Night Music and as Georgie in TLT’s production of the Full Monty. June music directed William Finn's A New Brain for Theatre A La Carte, which received a Florida Theatre Conference award for Best Musical Direction. June was also musical director for TLT's productions of Man of La Mancha and Ruthless! The Musical. She served as president of the TLT Board of Governors for 2004-2005 and continues to serve as a volunteer. June also worked as a coach/accompanist in Washington, D.C. She coached music theatre for a year at Central Michigan University before returning to Tallahassee. In real life, June is putting her two communication degrees to use as the production manager and public relations guru for the Florida State Opera. June wants to thank Gayle Seaton and Douglas Fisher for their friendship, unending support and willingness to answer a thousand questions. Much love to Grady, Stuart and Amy for always being my family and to Alden for your goofy text messages and for making me laugh.

SCOTT M. FREESE (Master Electrician/Sound Design) is looking forward to working on yet another season opening show for TLT. He somehow wound up working on almost every show this past season, but has recently been enjoying a little break. His recent activities include Lighting Designer for Biloxi Blues (TLT), assistant Sound Designer for Dracula (TLT), Lighting Designer for Sweet Smell of Success (Theater A La Carte), Master Electrician for The Graduate (TLT), Master Electrician and assistant Sound Designer for The Secret Garden (TLT), Stage Manager for Peter Pan (The Tallahassee Ballet), Stage Manager for Spotlight on Dance '08 (Pas de Vie), and Master Electrician and assistant Sound Designer for A Little Night Music (TALC). He has previously served on the TLT Board and is currently serving on the Theatre A La Carte Board, as well as Technical Director. During the day, Scott works for a small software company here in Tallahassee. When the weather is nice (and he is not in a theatre), he enjoys driving with the top down on his "fun" car. He would like to thank you for turning off your cell phones, pagers, and watch alarms during the performance, and for unwrapping your candy before the performance begins.

Sam Higdon (El Gallo) received his bachelor’s degree in Music/Theatre from the University of Northern Colorado. His professional career started at age 16, and he has performed in more than 50 musicals. Sam’s theatre travels have taken him from regional summer stock to dinner theatre to New York and around the world. His favorite performing venue was aboard the various ships of Holland America Cruise Line. Two of his proudest memories came during this time, working with Tony Award winning director Wayne Cilento, and meeting the leading lady of his life, Susan. Locally, Sam has been seen as Curly in Oklahoma and Billy in Carousel at Bainbridge Little Theatre, where he directed Fiddler on the Roof and Guys and Dolls. Sam’s favorite role is father to sons, Jacob and William. He is thrilled to be making his TLT debut.

Duncan Hoehn (Henry) hopes you enjoy the show and will be inspired to buy a TLT season ticket. He has been known to dabble in legitimate Shakespeare productions and hopes to perform in less farcical mode when Capital City Shakespeare presents Macbeth in January. He also encourages theater patrons to consider becoming charter members of the Florida Center for Performing Arts and Education.

DALE HOLCOMB (Set Construction) started building sets as a fifteen-year-old high school student in Milan, Michigan.  He was a Technical Director for 11 years for the Gulf Coast Opera Company in south west Florida and has been building sets for Theatre A La Carte, Tallahassee Little Theatre, and Quincy Music Theatre for 10 years.   Dale has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Science Education from the University of Central Florida and a Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of South Florida.  He has been an Environmental Specialist with the Florida Department of Health for over 27 years.  Dale is pleased to be building his first set for Lisa and is grateful for the opportunity to work with Colin again.  When did you become taller than me?

REBECCA MACKAY (Costumes/Properties) is so glad to be working with such a great team on this show! Rebecca was introduced to the local community theatre scene through her youngest daughter, Emily, and now the entire MacKay family can be seen offstage and on at Tallahassee Little Theatre. Rebecca is also an active member of the Board of Directors here at TLT and thanks everyone here for keeping her life full of interesting characters and excitement!

SHAWN MCCAULEY (Hucklebee) is a frequent participant with TLT, QMT, and Theatre A La Carte. His previous onstage appearances include roles in Orpheus Descending, The Countess, Ragtime, Jekyll & Hyde, Scrooge!, Pump Boys and Dinettes, Two by Two, Sunday in the Park with George, Assassins, Passion, Company, Follies, Anyone Can Whistle, The Full Monty, Triumph of Love, and most recently, A Little Night Music. When not appearing on stage, Shawn frequents the orchestra pit playing keyboards for shows such as The Marvelous Land of Oz, Falsettos, Tommy, A New Brain, Zombie Prom, Something's Afoot!, Bat Boy, Jesus Christ Superstar, Merrily We Roll Along, Seussical, Once On This Island, Sweet Smell of Success, Bye Bye Birdie, and The Secret Garden.

MATT MCCORMICK (Scenic Designer) served for three seasons as TLT’s Resident Designer/Technical Director and also directed last September’s season opener, Biloxi Blues. Matt has recently relocated to the northeast and is now employed as the Scenic Charge Artist with Northern Stage, a professional theatre in White River Junction, Vermont. Prior to his time in Tallahassee Matt worked as a Scenic Artist for STAGES St Louis, a professional musical theatre in St Louis, MO. Before working professionally in theatre he was a Graphic Designer/Photographer for nearly 20 years in Traverse City, MI.

LISA MITCHELL (Director/Choreographer) is thrilled to make her TLT directing debut with such an amazing show. She fell in love with this musical over 25 years ago when she played Luisa, and she is honored to be working with such a talented production team and such a gifted cast. Lisa received both her B.A. in Theatre and her M.S. in English Education from Florida State University. She is currently an Associate Professor of Speech and Theatre at Thomas University and a graduate student in Humanities at FSU. She has directed numerous musical productions including Festival, Pippin, and Nunsense, as well as many one act presentations, such as A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Much Ado About Nothing, Everyman in the Circus of Life, The Diary of Adam and Eve and her one-woman staged reading of “The Yellow Wall-paper.” Some of her favorite acting experiences include Merrily We Roll Along  (Mary Flynn), Jekyll & Hyde (Nellie), Pippin (Fastrada), Cabaret (Fraulein Kost), Gypsy (Mazeppa), Little Shop of Horrors (Chiffon), Guys and Dolls (Adelaide); Anyone Can Whistle (Fay Apple); A New Brain (Rhoda), and Into the Woods (Baker's Wife). Lisa would like to thank all the people who love, support, and encourage her, especially Pam, Tina, June, and Grady.

MIKE MOCK(Stage Manager) is very excited to be working with this dynamic, fun and talented cast and production team! Mike has worked backstage and in the front of house at TLT, and is glad that this has become a second home to him. Mike sends love to Naomi and Laura and hopes that you enjoy the show!

MARTIN PEACOCK (Mortimer) has been working both on and offstage in Tallahassee for the past 12 years - at Young Actors Theatre, Tallahassee Little Theatre, TCC, Chiles, and QMT. Some favorite credits include The Graduate (Benjamin) at TLT, Dracula (Renfield) at TLT, and The Eight Reindeer Monologues (Comet)for The Artist's Workshop. Martin spends his days coaching kids with the Champions program and working on the board for the Artist's Workshop. Thank you to family, friends, and a rockin' cast.

KATIE REDD (Lighting Designer)

WANDA TILLMAN (Costumer) is pleased to be joining the cast and crew of The Fantasticks with Tallahassee Little Theatre. She has worked on various productions with Tallahassee Little Theatre, Theatre A La Carte and Quincy Music Theatre, and looks forward to many more opportunities to help promote community theatre. Wanda encourages anyone interested in the magic of theatre to get involved; it's great fun!!

ASHLEY TOWNSEND (Luisa) – This will be Ashley’s fifth show at TLT and she is glad to be back on the stage. Ashley is a Tallahassee native and currently working on her Master’s Degree in Instructional Systems Design at Florida State University. This is the second time she has had the privilege to play the role of Luisa, the first being 6 years ago with the Central Florida Lyric Opera. She is thrilled to be working with this wonderful cast on one of her favorite shows. Some of Ashley’s favorite performance credits include: Martha in The Secret Garden (TLT), Jane in Jane Eyre The Musical (QMT), Geraldine Barclay in What the Butler Saw (TLT), and Tzietal in Fiddler on the Roof (Wekiva River Players). Ashley gives many thanks to her family for their love and support no matter what, and to her fiancé Jimmy for being her love and her rock.

COLIN WULFF (The Mute), a senior this year at Leon High School, is excited to be performing at TLT for the fifth time. Other shows include To Kill a Mockingbird (Dill), Shadowlands (Douglas), Theatre A La Carte’s Ragtime (Edgar), and the coffee house production of Water Engine (Bernie). He has also performed with Leon High Drama and with the opera department at FSU. He would like to thank his mother for her unceasing support.
