WHAT IS AN ENDOWMENT?
An endowment is an aggregation of assets invested by an organization
to support its mission in perpetuity. An endowment allows donors to transfer
their private dollars to public purposes with the assurance that their gifts
will serve these purposes for as long as the organization continues to exist.
An endowment represents a compact between
a donor and the organization. It links past, current and future generations.
It allows the organization to make commitments far into the future, knowing
that resources to meet those commitments will continue to be available.
Endowments serve the organization and the
public by providing stability and leveraging other sources of revenue.

The CCNF is a charitable non-profit organization incorporated
in 1997 by a group of local citizens who wanted to establish a community-based
vehicle for long-term philanthropy that would yield the greatest possible
benefits to donors and charities alike. They offer expert, professional fund
management for many organizations, guaranteeing not only the best possible
